If you have a problem with wildlife in your Killingly home, your best option is to hire a company that specializes in Connecticut wildlife removal only. This is a specialty business, and regular pest control companies do not use the proper techniques to solve animal problems. I have spent many years reviewing Connecticut and Killingly, and I recommend the following:

When hiring a company to solve your wild animal problem, you want these features:
Wildlife Trapping Professionals is a full-service Killingly wildlife removal company. This is very different from a regular Killingly pest control company. The pest control companies spray poison to kill insects. This is not at all
similar to wildlife removal. Wildlife Trapping Professionals performs a full inspection of the home or property, and determines why the animal(s) are there, and if inside a building, how the animals got inside. All
animals (including rodents) are trapped and removed, or if possible, removed from the building using special exclusion devices. Once the animals are gone, preventative repairs are essential, and
cleanup is sometimes recommended.
Killingly wildlife trapping - it's not as simple as it may seem. It's illegal in Connecticut to trap without a license. Trap type is very important and there are many different types, bait is somewhat relevant, trap placement
is vital, and there are dozens of small things that are very important to know.
Safety is a concern. Then once the animal is trapped, it must be removed and dealt with in the proper manner according to Connecticut law. We offer Killingly raccoon removal. Read more about how to get rid of raccoons.
Animals in attics - this is our specialty at Wildlife Trapping Professionals. Many types of animals like to live in attics. This includes squirrels, raccoons, rats, mice, bats, birds, and even possums. Critters like to go into attics for a safe place to live
and raise their young. Removing animals from attics is very complex work, partly because of the presence of baby animals. If you need Killingly squirrel removal, we can remove all the squirrels from your attic, and seal out any future ones. Read more about how to get rid of squirrels.
Rodent control must be done in a very specific way. First off, the most important thing is that all the openings that rats and mice can use to enter a house be sealed. Then all the rodents must be physically trapped and removed.
Never, ever use poison! Most Killingly exterminators will just use this lazy poison technique to kill rodents, and it causes more harm than good - dead stinky rats, and it doesn't solve the problem. Call us for correct Killingly rat removal. Read more about how to get rid of rats.
Bat removal is a highly specialized task. Connecticut is known to have colonizing bats who often live in buildings. Bats love attics. If not removed, the colony can grow to a very large size over the years. The bat droppings are often corrosive and
cause health risks. The same goes for bird droppings on or in buildings. We perform Killingly pigeon removal and bird control. But our specialty is Killingly bat removal. We remove 100% of the bat colony and seal the building so that it's totally bat-proof. Read more about how to get rid of bats.
If you have animals inside a house, no job is complete without proper exclusion repairs. If you simply hire a Killingly trapper who only removes the critters, then the problem will return. You need to hire a Killingly wildlife control company that identifies 100% of the animal entry points
into your building, and seals them shut with professional repairs. In addition, in many cases animals have left waste or contamination behind, and you'll want a company that can provide professional cleaning services. Wildlife Trapping Professionals does both.
The above are just some of the services offered by Wildlife Trapping Professionals. We also trap and remove animals that destroy lawns, such as moles, or digging animals. Sometimes animals like opossums will live under buildings, steal pet food, raid garbage cans, etc.
Read about how to get rid of opossums. Skunks commonly live under sheds or decks, and set up a den. We can trap and remove them without them spraying. Read about how to get rid of skunks. Wildlife Trapping Professionals
also provides dead animal removal in Killingly. If you need help with any other wildlife conflict, from a fox, beaver, groundhog, or any other critter, we can solve it. We also do Killingly snake removal - most of the snakes in Connecticut are not venomous, but
call us if you want safe removal, or read about how to get rid of snakes in Killingly. And remember, we are a private business, not Windham County Animal Control Services, so if you have a dog or cat problem, call the County at (860) 774-1253.
Windham County animal services does not handle any wildlife issues.
Baby Skunk Removal
Skunks have become famous for their incredibly powerful scented sprays that are almost impossible to remove. Their black and white, stripy physique is widely recognized; some people may react by running away from them, but others may want to adopt them and keep them as pets.
Skunks are usually found in the forests and woodlands of the North American continent, and can often be seen living around suburban spaces, where they can find warm refuge under people's porches and even inside unused water duct lines. The idea of having a skunk inside or near someone's house can be uncomfortable for some people, especially because of the fear of being sprayed, or having their homes ruined by it.
Female skunks are likely to be the ones living in these areas because people's houses and porches seem to be the perfect warm spaces to deliver their babies in. Otherwise, female skunks are also able to dig holes or dens in gardens or backyards for their babies. Skunk litters normally contain between 4 to 7 kits, and they are born within 66 days of conception.
Skunk kits are born deaf, blind and with almost no fur on their skin. They will remain within the protection of their dens for 6 to 8 weeks. After they reach the age of 2 months, skunks are no longer dependent of their mothers, but remain with them until they are approximately one year old.
Baby skunks are particularly difficult to remove because of their incapacity to control their scent glands. By this, it is meant that any sudden moves or anything that will startle them will most likely result in a spray. Although they are babies, the spray of baby skunks is equally as potent as the spray of a grown adult, so you'll have to be very careful.
Many wildlife professionals will use the method of 'wildlife exclusion' to remove baby skunks efficiently and sensibly; without hurting them. This procedure consists in only making one exit point available, so that the babies have no where to go except towards the structure that is laid in front of them. When they enter the box to trap, safely transport them to the woods or in the appropriate wild conditions and let them free. Remember to wear thick and old clothing for protection in case the babies spray.
However, this must only be done when the young skunks are old enough to survive, other wise they will die. It is important to note that skunks are nocturnal animals, and if is unlikely for their mothers to leave them during the day. If this is the case, there is possibly a good reason for it; for example, a sudden death of the mother or simple abandonment. In case of no mother in sight, this process can be done with more ease. However, if there is a mother nearby, it is recommended to contact a professional wildlife control to ensure your safety, and those of the skunks.
