What can rats climb?

The rats are very intelligent and well-prepared animals, but what is most interesting, they are super-athletes. With the fantastic physical abilities, rats can make human athletes look funny. They can climb both vertical and horizontal wires. A rat can jump almost one meter in the air, it also can stretch up to 33 cm. Unlike humans, rats can rotate their paws around the wrist and can easily climb things. They can climb the brick walls with ease, ropes, cables, vines, shrubs and trees in order to get in the building. Rats can crawl through the quarter sized holes. The impressive fact is that they can survive being flushed down a toilet and using the same route to enter the building again.

Rats are ultimate survivors and they developed some really useful ways to get over any obstacle. It is recorded that rat can jump down from a five-story building and survive. It is very important to know our enemy and the rats are well-prepared and equipped with excellent physical abilities. We cannot do much to prevent them entering our houses, most of the time they will outsmart us. They didn’t survive millions and millions of years by coincidence. Only rats and cockroaches can survive a potential atomic war. Why? Because that’s what they do. They survive and nothing can touch them. You can kill a few of them but they breed so quickly and they’ll not stop.

If the rat wants to enter your house, it will do so. Whatever precaution and measures you take, that’s not going to help you. We are not talking about some lab rats; we are talking about real outside rats and their natural psychical abilities. The walls, wires, pipes, cables and whatnot, they will conquer anything without any problems thanks to the evolution and nature. They are maybe a pests and disease spreaders, but we have to admire them and understand them if we want to co-exist because it is obvious that people cannot win the battle against rats and they will certainly out survive us. While we destroying each other, they are growing fast as sound and where are the people, there will always be rats. Millions of them. Go back to the How to get rid of rats home page.
