How to make and use a one-way door to remove animals in a house

The one way door is the best way that you may get the animals out of the building or the home. However, you should know that such method will not be solving the problem itself since the new animals may enter into the building so that they may replace the ones that you have sent away. When there is an animal in your attic, it is possible that there is a nest of the babies and they can chew on everything they find. When you exclude some, others may remain inside. Sometime the situation may be complex than just setting the one way door.

A one door way is mounted on the building where the animals used to exit or to enter into the home. The device may have wings or the flanges on one side and they can be mounted on a building while the torsion-spring may be repeated in one way and it can lead to the cage. This is the trap that can be used to get rid of the animals. To use the trap, you should first identify where there is a hole that the squirrels use to enter in the building or to go out of the building. When you find that there are many entrances, you should seal all the holes and leave only one and it is better to leave the most popular hole.

The seal up has to be done using the steel screening and this is the kind that the squirrels are not able to chew to go through. The one way door is the best option for letting the animals to go out of a house but not letting them to go back in the house. There is no need to use the trap if there are places where the animals may enter back in the house. The trap has to be used in the homes with well-defined exit and entry holes while other areas have to be secure. The trap may use also the funnel, the animals can slip out and it is easy for it to go out. The funnels can let the animals out easily but they do not let them to go back. However, the funnel has to be precise, since if it is a big hole, it may re-enter or if it is a small hole, the animal may not get inside. When all the animals are out of the home, the main hole should be sealed completely. Go back to the How to get rid of XANIMAL home page.
